«EUROCENTRISM» OR «TURKOСENTRIZM»
Abstract
The article is a quick response to a difficult discussion, to inappropriate statements by prof. Dzhusupov. Each debatable thesis of the opponent turns out to be erroneous from the point of view of phonetics and syngarmology, all this is confirmed by the arguments arising from the primordial nature of the Kazakh language.
As an uncompromising alternative to the «Eurocentric» phonological analysis of the phonetics of the Kazakh (Turkic) language, the «Turkic-centered» syngarmological analysis is proposed. The article provides important information about the comprehensive reform of the Kazakh letter.
